In the Name of God Amen I MARY PARFETT of the Parish of Streatley in the County of Berks being in good health of Body and of sound and perfect Mind and Memory praise be therefore given to Almighty God do make and ordain this my present Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say first and principally I commend by Soul into the Hands of Almighty God hoping through the Merits Death and Passion of My Saviour Jesus Christ to have fully and free pardon and forgiveness of All my sins and to inherit Everlasting Live and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be Decently Buried at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter Named and as touching the Disposition of all such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow Upon Me I Give and Dispose thereof as followeth

First I will that my Debts and Funeral Charges shall be paid and Discharged I give and bequeath to my Eldest Son JOHN FRYZER the Sum of one Shilling and a Sett of Silver Coat Buttons In consideration of the said JOHN FRYZER’S Late Grandmother having provided for him more than for my Other Children I give and bequeath Unto my Daughter MARY FRYZER that House or Tenement with Garden and Appurtenances thereunto belonging situated on the North Side Streatley Street in the County of Berks under a Lease from Mr GEORGE BAILEY to the said Parish of Streatley now in the occupation of Mr JOSEPH ANDREWS School master I likewise give unto my aforesaid Daughter MARY FRYZER All my wearing Apparel and things and all the Rest and Residue of my Goods and Chattels whatsoever I do give and bequeath unto my Son EDWARD FRYZER and my Daughter MARY FRYZER to be equally divided to and for the Dischargeing of this my Last Will and Testament I Appoint my Brother HENRY PAICE and Mr GEORGE BAILEY as Executors to have all power to Dispose of my Effects as they shall think proper for the Benefit of my said Children as before expressed and that Expence they may be at in [ ] the said Business I Do Desier and Will that all Expences be paid out of my Household Goods And I do hereby revoke [ ] and make void all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made In Witness Whereof I the said MARY PARFETT to this my Last Will and Testament by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I sett my hand and seal this Sixteenth Day of October In the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Seven – MARY PARFETT

This Will was proved at Oxford on the twenty sixth day of June in the year of our Lord 1788 before the Rev John Cox Clerk Batchelor of Law Surrogate of the Revd Arthur Dodwell Clerk M A Official Principal of the [ ] Archdeacon of Berks lawfully constituted by the Oath of HENRY PAICE the Brother and surviving Executor therein named to whom Admon was granted being first sworn duly to administer
