In the Name of God Amen
I BENJAMIN LOADER of Baskingstoke in the County of Southampton Draper being of a sound perfect and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) First I commit my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it hoping through Christ alone to have Forgiveness of my Sins and a joyful Resurrection in the life to come and my Body to the Dust and as for and concerning the wordly Goods it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and Dispose thereof as follows (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved Wife MARY the Sum of Sixty Pounds which is now in her own possession to and for her own proper use and benefit Also I give and bequeath unto her my said Wife and her Assigns all and singular my copyhold Estates situate in the parish of [            ] or elsewhere in the County of Southampton which I now hold of the Manor of [            ] and also all that part of my Leasehold Estate Situate in Church Street in Basingstoke now in the Occupation of my Son SAMUEL LOADER together with the household Goods and Furniture now being therein To hold the said Copyhold and Leasehold Estates and household Goods and Furniture above mentioned with their respective appurtenances unto her my said Wife and her assigns for and during her natural life and Also I give and bequeath unto my said Wife One Annuity or clear yearly Sum of Sixty Eight Pounds of Lawful Money for and during the term of her Natural Life to be paid to her by four equal payments in the year the first payment thereof to be made at the end of three calendar Months next after my decease on this condition Nevertheless that she or they pay there out unto my said Son SAMUEL by quarterly payments the sum of Fifteen Pounds per annum and permits and suffers my Sons JAMES and NATHANIEL LOADER their Executors Administrators or Assigns to hold occupy and enjoy and receive the rents and Profits of my said Copy Estates above mentioned with their appurtenances at the clear yearly Rent of thirty two Pounds per Annum to be paid quarterly without any deduction whatsoever  Also I give and bequeath unto my said Son SAMUEL LOADER one Annuity or clear Yearly Sum of twenty Pounds of like money from and immediately after the decease of my said Wife for and during the term of his Natural life to be paid to him quarterly the First payment thereof to be made at the End of three Calendar Months next after her decease  Also I give and bequeath unto my Son JOHN LOADER one annuity or clear Yearly Sum of Ten Pounds of like money for and during the term of his Natural life to be paid to him quarterly and the first payment thereof to be made at the end of three Calendar Month next after my decease But upon this express Condition that if he my said Son JOHN shall at any time sell dispose of assign over or in any wise divest himself of the said Annuity of Ten Pounds or any Part or share thereof then and from thenceforth the whole of the same Annuity shall cease and become void to all intents and purposes whatsoever  Also I give and bequeath unto my Son BENJAMIN LOADER the Legacy or Sum of three hundred pounds of like Money and to my Son THOMAS LOADER the Legacy or Sum of Four hundred pounds of like Money to be paid to them respectively in twelve Months next after my decease  also I give and bequeath unto my Son MOSES LOADER the Legacy or Sum of Five hundred pounds of like money to be paid to him when and as soon as he attains the age of twenty six years with Interest in the mean time after the rate of Four pounds per Centum per Annum but in case my said Son MOSES shall happen to die before he attains the said age of twenty six years without leaving any Child or Children lawfully begotten then the said Legacy or Sum of Five hundred pounds is to lapse and sink into the residuum of my personal Estate hereinafter mentioned and disposed of  Also I give and bequeath unto my Grandaughters the eldest and youngest Daughters of my Son in Law GEORGE TAPP by my late Daughter ELIZABETH his late Wife deceased the Legacy or Sum of one hundred Pounds of like money each to be paid to them as they respectively attain the age of twenty one years and if either of them shall die before that age then the surviving sister to have and receive the Legacy of her so dying on attaining the Age aforesaid but if both my said Grandchildren happen to die under the said Age then the said two last mentioned Legacies are to lapse and sink into the Residuum of my said personal Estate  All the rest residue and remainder of my Freehold Copyhold and Leasehold Estates Good Chattels Cattle Stock in Trade Monies Securities for Money and in general all other my Personal Estate of whatsoever denomination the same may be and wheresoever situate at the time of my decease I give devise and Bequeath unto my said Sons JAMES and NATHANIEL LOADER their heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns to be equally divided between them share and share alike and to take as Tenants in Common and not as joint tenants  And I do hereby nominate and appoint them my said Sons JAMES and NATHANIEL LOADER Executors of this my Will 

In Witness whereof I the said BENJAMIN LOADER the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in three sheets of paper set my hand and affixed my Seal (that is to say) to the two first sheets thereof set my hand and to this last Sheet set my hand and affixed my Seal this Sixteenth day of January in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Ninety Six – BENJAMIN LOADER – Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said BENJAMIN LOADER the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our Names as Witnesses in his presence and in the Presence of each other at his request and desire – ROGER ALLWOODGIDEON GRACEM. This Will was proved at London the thirty First day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and Ninety Eight before the Right Honorable Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of JAMES LOADER and NATHANIEL LOADER the Sons and Executors named in the said Will to whom Admon was granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased having been first Sworn by Commission duly to Administer
