Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 3 May 1785
 










This is the last Will and Testament of me SAMUEL HOUSE of Wardour Street in the Parish of Saint James Westminster in the County of Middlesex Victualler

First I will that my just Debts and Funeral Expenses be fully paid and satisfied out of the Residue of my Estate as hereafter mentioned

I give will devise and bequeath to my Housekeeper ELIZABETH MEADOWS one Annuity or clear yearly sum of Twenty pounds for and during the term of her natural Life  I also give and bequeath to my Daughter SARAH by the said ELIZABETH one other Annuity or clear yearly sum of twenty pounds during the term of her natural Life and I charge my Leasehold premises in Upper Grosvenor Street with the payment during my Term and Interest therein and then the said Annuities to Cease and as to my Leasehold premises wherein I now live and all other my Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever not hereinbefore disposed of I give and bequeath the same to my Son SAMUEL HOUSE subject to the payment of my Debts and Funeral Expenses and I do hereby nominate and appoint JOHN JENNINGS of Little Poultrey Street in the said Parish of Saint James Brewer Executor and Trustee of this my Will for the purposes aforesaid And I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills Codicils and bequests by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this as and for my last and only Will

This Will was proved at London the third day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five before the Worshipful George Harris Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Worshipful Peter [Calvort] Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissory of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath of JOHN JENNINGS the Sole Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased having been first sworn duly to Administer
