In the Name of God Amen

I ANN RUSH of Streatly in the County of Berks Spinster being in good Health of Body and of Sound and disposing Mind Memory and understanding Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in Writing in manner and form following (that is to say) My Body I Commend to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named and as to any Wordly Estate I dispose therefor followeth (that is to say) I Give and bequeath unto CHARLOTTE RUSH Daughter of Mr SAMUEL RUSH the Sum of Twenty Guineas of Lawfull Money of Great Britain also I give and bequeath unto Mr BENJAMIN RUSH the Elder the sum of Ten pounds of like Lawfull Money and to his Son BENJAMIN RUSH the Sum of Five pounds also I Give and bequeath unto my Sister LYDIA HOOPER widow the Interest of Six hundred Pounds for and during the term of her natural Life and so long as she should continue and remain a Widow and unmarried and from and immediately after her decease or Marriage which should first happen then and in such case I Give and bequeath the said Principal Sum of Six hundred Pounds with all the Arrear of Interest that shall be then due for the same together with all the rest and residue of my Goods Chattles Estate and Effects whatsoever unto my Loving Brother MONTAGUE RUSH his Executor or Administrator And I do hereby nominate Constitute and Appoint the said MONTAGUE RUSH sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore and declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament  In witness whereof I the said ANN RUSH have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Nineteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and sixty three – ANN RUSH 

Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said ANN RUSH the Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us whom in her presence and in the presence of each other and at her request have subscribed our Names as witnesses hereto the day and year above written – MARY ASLETTSARAH WHICHERRICHARD TULL 

This Will was Proved at Oxford the Fifteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and sixty four before the Reverend John Swinton Bachelor in Divinity Surrogate of the Worshipfull William Spry Doctor of Laws and Official of the Reverend the Archdeacon of the Archdeaconry of Berks lawfully constituted By the Oath of MONTAGUE RUSH Brother of the deceased and sole Executor in the said Will named To whom was committed the Administration of all and singular the Goods Credits and Chattells of the said deceased He being first Sworn of the Truth of the said Will and of well and truly performing the same and exhibiting a true and perfect Inventory of all the Goods and Chattels of the said deceased and rendering an account thereof when required
