In the Name of God Amen
I RICHARD WILLIAMS of Neithrop in the County of Oxford Gentleman being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following  I commend my Soul to God in hopes of mercy at the eternal resurrection and my Body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried without Ostentation in my Vault in Banbury Church Yard in the County of Oxford and as to such Wordly Goods as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow on me I give devise and bequeath thereof as follows

I give and bequeath to my affectionate Wife ANN WILLIAMS all my Estate both real and personal of what nature and kind soever during the term of her natural life not subject to the Control of any husband she may hereafter marry but to be for her own sole use and benefit  I give and bequeath to my esteemed friend Mrs ELIZABETH CLARSON of Adderbury in the County of Oxford the sum of Five Guineas for a ring and I also give and bequeath to the said Mrs ELIZABETH CLARSON my Sedan Chair Poles Straps Cushion and [tassels] and also my Green Garden Chair with [    ] and Cushion  I give and bequeath to my Sister CATHERINE WILLIAMS all that Bond and Mortgage of the Sum of one hundred and Sixty pounds of two houses out house Stable and Garden situate in Wheatley in the Parish of  [Luddeston] in the County of Oxford  I also give and bequeath to my said Sister CATHERINE WILLIAMS all my right share and Interest of the house [            ] kitchen out house drying kiln mill house Garden and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging situate in Wheatley aforesaid now in her occupation for the term of her natural life but not subject to any husband she may marry but for her own sole use and benefit on condition that she keeps the said house premises Garden and Garden Walls in good and sufficient repair and immediately after her decease I give and bequeath the aforesaid Premises to my Nephew JOHN WILLIAMS the Son of my late Brother JOHN WILLIAMS for and during the term of his natural life he keeping the said Premises in good and sufficient repair and after his decease I give and bequeath the said premises to my Great Nephew RICHARD WILLIAMS the Son of my Nephew RYLEY WILLIAMS and the heirs of his body lawfully begotten in trust till he shall arrive at the age of twenty one years  I give and bequeath to my Nephew RYLEY WILLIAMS five Guineas for a ring a silver tankard largest silver waiter two Silver Sauce [Boats] four [               ] four salt spoons soup ladle and punch ladle in consideration of his being my Godson  I give and bequeath to my Nephew WILLIAM WADBROOK five Guineas for a ring a Silver Bread Basket a [                    ] and a punch ladle and Wine Strainer in consideration of his being my God Son  I give and bequeath to my Nephew FRANCIS WADBROOK five Guineas for a ring I give and bequeath to my Nephew GEORGE WADBROOK five Guineas for a ring  I give and bequeath Niece MARY WILLIAMS five Guineas for a ring  I give and bequeath to my Niece [CATTERN] WILLIAMS five Guineas for a ring a silver Coffee pot a silver Tea Caddy Silver Tea pot and stand  I give and bequeath to my Nephew WILLIAM BLAKE the Sum of fifty pounds of the good and lawful money of Great Britain  I also give to my said Nephew WILLIAM BLAKE a Silver pint Mug and a Silver Waiter with my Coat of Arms engraved thereon  I give and bequeath to my Nephew RICHARD WILLIAMS the Sum of Five Guineas for a ring  I give and bequeath to my Nephew RICHARD WILLIAMS [            ] the Sum of Twenty pounds of Good and lawful money of Great Britain  I give and bequeath to my Niece REBECCA LEWIS the Sum of Twenty pounds of the good and lawful money of Great Britain  I also give and bequeath to the said REBECCA LEWIS the Sum of Twenty pounds a year to be paid her by half yearly payments out of the rent of my house now in the occupation of STEPHEN RICHARDSON Tea Dealer situated in the Parish of All Saints in the City of Oxford but my express will and desire is that neither the said Twenty pounds un money nor the said twenty pounds yearly shall not be subject to the control of the present or any future husband of the said REBECCA LEWIS but to be for her own sole use and benefit and that her receipt only shall be a discharge for the same  I give and bequeath to MARTHA and MARY CLARIDGE of Neithrop in the County of Oxford all my right and title to those two houses workshop and yard now in the occupation of EDWARD CLEAVER and his under Tenants the same being situate the corner of Caulthrop Lane Banbury  I give and bequeath to my late Servant JOSEPH PRESCOTT the Sum of Twenty pounds of good and lawful money of Great Britain  I give and bequeath to my late Servant THOMAS WOODWARD the Sum of five pounds  I give and bequeath to my Servant JOHN GARDNER the Sum of Ten pounds if he be living with me at the time of my death  I give and bequeath to my Servant ANN LEWIS Ten pounds if she be living with me at the time of my decease  I give and bequeath to my worthy Friend JAMES WATE GOLBY of Banbury Gentleman the Sum of Fifty pounds for the trouble he may have in acting as a Trustee in this my Will and as to all the rest and residue my Estates both real and personal of what nature and kind soever I give devise and bequeath to my Sister SUSANNA WILLIAMS my Sister MARY WADBROOKE my Sister CATHERINE WILLIAMS and my Nephew RYLEY WILLIAMS for their own sole use and benefit and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my beloved wife ANN WILLIAMS to be my whole and sole Executrix she paying my just Debts and Funeral Expenses and performing all matters herein contained according to the true meaning and intent thereof and I do appoint my Sister CATHERINE WILLIAMS my Friend JAMES WATE GOLBY Gentleman and my Nephew RYLEY WILLIAMS and WILLIAM WADBROOKE to be trustees to this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Will or Wills made by me or any person for me given under any hand and Seal this thirteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight – RICHARD WILLIAMS – This is the last Will of me RICHARD WILLIAMS written with my own hand containing five sheets of paper in the presence of use whose names are hereunto subscribed – WILLIAM WILSONEDWARD CROPLEY WILLIAM WOOLSTON Clerks to Messrs Walford Golby and Walford Attornies Banbury Oxon 

On the fifteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine Admon with the Will annexed of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of RICHARD WILLIAMS late of Neithrop in the County of Oxford Esquire deceased was granted to SUSANNA WILLIAMS Spinster MARY WADBROOK by mistake in the Will written WADBROOKE wife of WILLIAM WADBROOK the Sister and CATHERINE WILLIAMS Spinster the Sisters and RYLEY WILLIAMS the Nephew of the said deceased and the Residuary Legatees named in the said Will having been first sworn duly to adminster ANN WILLIAMS widow the Relict of the deceased and the sole Executrix named in the said Will died without having taken upon her the Probate and execution of the said Will
