Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 26 July 1833










This is the last Will and Testament of me HANNAH HIRONS of Wardington in the County of Oxford Spinster  I give and bequeath all my plate to my Nephew WILLIAM HOWKINS of Coventry Son of my Sister MARTHA HOWKINS and all my monies securities for money goods chattels effects and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever except the said plate I give and bequeath to my Nephews WILLIAM HIRONS of Chacombe and RICHARD HIRONS of Warkworth their executors and administrators Upon trust that they the said WILLIAM HIRONS and RICHARD HIRONS or the survivor of them his executors or administrators do and shall as soon as conveniently may be after my decease sell and dispose of so much of my personal estate bequeathed to them as aforesaid as shall be of a saleable nature in such manner as they or he shall think proper for the best price or prices that can be reasonably had or obtained for the same and do and shall get in and receive the residue thereof and I give to the said WILLIAM HIRONS and RICHARD HIRONS out of the monies to arise by the means aforesaid the sum of Ten pounds apiece for their trouble in the execution of the trusts of this my Will And my Will is that my said Trustees and the survivor of them his executors or administrators shall stand possessed of all the residue of the monies to arise from the said sale or sales and to be got in and received as aforesaid Upon the Trusts and for the intents and purposes hereinafter expressed and declared concerning the same that is to say Upon Trust that they or he do and shall with all convenient speed thereout pay and discharge all my just debts together with my funeral and testamentary expenses and after the several payments aforesaid do and shall lay out and invest all the residue of the said monies on real or government securities or in some of the public funds in their or his names or name and do and shall from time to time alter and vary the same securities and funds as to them or him shall seem reasonable and do and shall out of the interest and dividends arising from the said securities and funds pay to my brother THOMAS HIRONS of Wardington the sum of Five pounds yearly and every year during the term of his natural life the first payment thereof to be made at the end of twelve calendar months from the time of my decease and subject thereto do and shall pay the said interest and dividends to my Sister MARTHA HOWKINS of Epwell during the term of her natural life and in case the said THOMAS HIRONS shall survive her then to the said THOMAS HIRONS during the remainder then to come of his natural life and my Will is that from and after the decease of the survivor of them the said THOMAS HIRONS and MARTHA HOWKINS my said Trustees their executors and administrators shall stand and be possessed of all the said securities and funds in trust for the seventeen persons hereinafter named equally share and share alike as Tenants in Common that is to say WILLIAM HIRONS of Hanwell  ANN MAYNARD of Halse  MARY HIRONS of Whitfield  RICHARD HIRONS of Dodford  JOHN HIRONS of Bicester and THOMAS HIRONS of Wardington Children of my said brother THOMAS HIRONS  JOHN HIRONS a natural Child of ELIZABETH HIRONS another Child of my said brother THOMAS HIRONS the aforesaid WILLIAM HIRONS of Chacombe and RICHARD HIRONS of Warkworth my Trustees who are Children of my brother RICHARD HIRONS  WILLIAM WYKES of Shenington ELIZABETH HEYDEN of Middleton and SOPHIA KNIBB of Middleton Children of my Sister SARAH WYKES the said WILLIAM HOWKINS of Coventry CAROLINE HOWKINS of Leamington MARY HANCOCK of Shutford and ANN GREENHILL of Brailes Children of my Sister MARTHA HOWKINS and RICHARD GREEN of Wardington son of my Sister ELIZABETH GREEN and my Will is that the share of each of them the said seventeen persons in the said securities and funds shall be vested immediately after my decease notwithstanding the postponement of the transfer or payment thereof till after the decease of the survivor of them my said brother THOMAS HIRONS and my said Sister MARTHA HOWKINS and I direct that if the said JOHN HIRONS the son of the said ELIZABETH HIRONS shall be a minor at the time of the decease of the survivor of them my said brother THOMAS HIRONS and my said Sister MARTHA HOWKINS the interest and dividends of his share of the said securities and funds shall be applied by my said Trustees or the survivor of them his executors or administrators towards his maintenance and education or otherwise for his benefit until he shall attain the age of twenty one years or that if my said Trustees or the survivor of them his executors or administrators shall think it advantageous to apply the said share or any part thereof towards putting the said JOHN HIRONS apprentice they or he shall be at liberty so to apply the same provided and I do hereby declare my Will to be that my said Trustees their executors or administrators shall not be answerable the one for the other of them or for signing receipts for the sake of conformity or for any involuntary loss and that it shall be lawful for them out of the trust monies coming to their hands to reimburse themselves their costs and expenses in discharging the trusts hereby in them reposed and I appoint the said WILLIAM HIRONS and RICHARD HIRONS my Trustees and Executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me made
